Privacy Policy
How Netbase JSC collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
Effective date: 24 July 2026Netbase JSC (“Netbase”, “Netbase Group”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at netbasejsc.com, how we use and safeguard it, and the rights you have over your data.
By using our website or contacting us, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit information to us.
1.Who we are
Netbase JSC is a business-to-business information technology and digital transformation consultancy based in Hanoi, Vietnam. We have been delivering software development, IT outsourcing, and digital solutions to clients around the world since 2012.
For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Netbase JSC is the controller of the personal information collected through this website. If you have any questions about this policy or wish to exercise your privacy rights, you can reach us at [email protected] or through our Contact page.
2.Information we collect
We only collect information that helps us respond to you, deliver our services, and improve our website. This includes:
Information you provide to us
- Contact and enquiry details. When you complete a contact or project enquiry form on our site, we collect the information you enter — typically your first and last name, email address, phone number, website address, project budget, and the details of your message. These submissions are emailed to our team and stored in our website database so we can follow up with you.
- Newsletter and marketing sign-ups. If you subscribe to our newsletter or updates, we collect the email address (and any name) you provide so we can send you the communications you requested.
- Correspondence. If you email us or otherwise communicate with us, we keep a record of that correspondence and its contents.
Information we collect automatically
- Usage and analytics data. We use Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors find and use our website — for example pages viewed, approximate location, referring source, device and browser type, and general interaction patterns.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Our website and the services it relies on (WordPress, Google Analytics, and Cloudflare) place cookies and similar identifiers on your device. See the “Cookies and analytics” section below for details.
- Server and security logs. Our hosting infrastructure and our content delivery and security provider (Cloudflare) automatically record technical information such as your IP address, request timestamps, and browser user-agent for security, performance, and troubleshooting.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal data (such as health, religious, or political information) through this website, and we ask that you do not submit such information to us.

4.Legal bases for processing
Where data protection laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent — for example, when you subscribe to our newsletter or agree to non-essential cookies. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries, keep our website secure, and understand and improve how it is used, in a way that does not override your rights and interests.
- Performance of a contract — to provide the services you have engaged us for and to communicate with you about them.
- Legal obligation — where we must process information to comply with applicable law.
5.Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them to keep the website functioning, to remember preferences, and to measure how the site is used. The main categories are:
- Essential cookies set by WordPress and by Cloudflare to operate the site securely and reliably.
- Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) to produce aggregated statistics about site usage.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using the tools Google provides. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the website work. For more information on how Google handles data, see Google’s own privacy resources.
6.How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not rent or trade it. We share information only with the trusted service providers that help us operate our website and business, and only to the extent necessary. These include:
- Google — website analytics (Google Analytics / Google Site Kit).
- Mailchimp and our newsletter platform — to manage subscriptions and send email campaigns you have signed up for.
- Our email / SMTP delivery provider — to send and receive transactional and enquiry emails from the website.
- Cloudflare — content delivery, performance, and website security.
- Our hosting provider — to store and serve the website and its database.
These providers process data on our behalf under agreements that require them to protect it and use it only for the services they provide to us. We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Netbase, our clients, or others.
7.International data transfers
Netbase JSC is based in Vietnam and serves clients worldwide. Personal information you provide is processed in Vietnam and may also be processed by the international service providers listed above, which operate data centres in various countries. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law, including relying on the safeguards and contractual protections offered by those providers.
8.Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy. Enquiry and contact-form data is retained while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards to maintain our business records. Newsletter subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Server and security logs are retained for a limited period for operational and security purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
9.Your rights
Depending on where you live and the laws that apply to you, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and request a copy of it;
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- Request deletion of your personal information;
- Object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing;
- Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent; and
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection or supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected] or via our Contact page. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You can also unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time using the link in each message.
10.How we protect your information
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. These include encryption of data in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and the security services provided by Cloudflare and our hosting infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11.Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and professional users. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
12.Links to other websites
Our website may contain links to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party website you visit, as we are not responsible for their content or practices.
13.Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date shown at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
