Privacy Screen Guard Privacy Policy
Privacy Screen Guard, a Chrome extension published by Netbase JSC, spots and masks sensitive details on your screen while you share or capture it. All detection happens on your device. The extension sends no page content, form values, screenshots or browsing history to Netbase or anyone else. This policy applies from 22 July 2026.
Who publishes Privacy Screen Guard
Privacy Screen Guard is published by CÔNG TY CỔ PHẦN GIẢI PHÁP VÀ ỨNG DỤNG DOANH NGHIỆP NETBASE, tax code (enterprise registration number) 0105951482, trading as Netbase JSC ("Netbase", "we", "us"). This policy covers the extension only. How we handle data on our own website is explained in the Netbase privacy policy.
What the extension does
Privacy Screen Guard helps you avoid showing private information by accident, for example during a video call, a screen share, a recorded demo or a screenshot. It looks for sensitive values on the pages you open and masks them before others can see them. You can also mask parts of a page by hand or add your own phrases to hide.
What it processes, and where
To find sensitive values, the extension reads the page in your browser: visible text, form fields, frames and embedded components. The patterns it looks for include:
- email addresses, phone numbers and postal addresses;
- payment card numbers, bank account details and security codes;
- access tokens and similar secrets;
- identity, medical and insurance identifiers, and vehicle identifiers;
- IP addresses, crypto wallet addresses and map coordinates.
All of this happens locally, inside your browser on your device. The extension does not send page content to any server for analysis, and no remote service, AI service or human reviewer sees what is on your screen.

Netbase has no copy of any of these, so we cannot view, recover or delete them for you. Removing the extension clears its local settings.
Browser permissions and why they are needed

You can review or withdraw these permissions at any time in your browser's extension settings.
What we do not do
- We do not collect, upload or sell page content, form values, screenshots or browsing history.
- We do not use analytics, telemetry, advertising or tracking tools in the extension.
- We do not fingerprint your browser or build a behavioral profile.
- We do not share data with data brokers, advertisers or other third parties, and no subprocessor handles extension data.
Messages between parts of the extension stay inside your browser.
Children
Privacy Screen Guard is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Because the extension collects no personal data, it holds none about children either.
Changes to this policy
If a new version of Privacy Screen Guard changes how it handles data, we will update this page before that version is released and change the effective date. This page stays at the same address, so the link in the extension's store listing always shows the current policy.
