What we collect

Information you give us

When you fill in the contact form, we receive what you enter. The form asks for your name, email address and message, and can also take your phone number, address and a subject. Many people add details about their project, goal, timeline or budget. Please share only what we need to reply, and do not send passwords, payment card numbers or special categories of personal data through the form.

If you email or call us, we receive your contact details and whatever you choose to tell us. If you sign up for email updates, we receive your email address and the fact that you subscribed.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, ours receives technical data with every request: your IP address, browser and device type, the page you asked for, the page that referred you, and the date and time. Our infrastructure and analytics tools may also place cookies or similar technologies in your browser to keep the site running, remember choices and measure how pages are used.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children, and we do not try to identify you from technical data alone.

Why we use your data

We do not use your data for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we do not sell it.

How the contact form works

When you submit the contact form, the site emails your message to the Netbase team and stores a copy in the website database so the right person can follow up. Only Netbase staff who handle enquiries, and the administrators who maintain the site, can open those records.

To keep out automated spam, the form carries a hidden field that people leave empty and a signed time stamp, and the site counts sends per IP address for up to one day. These checks never leave the site.

Who processes data for us

We use service providers, acting as processors, to run the website and our communications. They handle personal data on our instructions and only for the service they provide:

Netbase is based in Vietnam. Some of our processors run global infrastructure, so your data may be processed in countries other than the one you live in, or other than Vietnam. Where that happens, we rely on the processor's own contractual and security commitments and share only what the service needs.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it for:

• enquiries and project conversations, while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick the conversation up again;
• email subscription records, until you unsubscribe, after which we keep only what we need to respect that choice;
• technical logs and analytics, for the periods our providers apply to keep the service secure and useful;
• records we must keep by law, for the period the law sets.

When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect data

The website is served over HTTPS, so data travels encrypted between your browser and the site. We limit access to contact form records to the people who need them. No system is completely secure, so we also ask you not to send sensitive information through the form. If a breach affects your personal data, we will act promptly and inform you and the authorities where the law requires it.
