What the Cloud & DevOps family covers
Cloud & DevOps sits between code and customers: where software runs, how a change reaches production, how the platform survives a peak or a failed server, and what it costs each month. Done badly, it shows up as slow releases, surprise outages and a bill that grows faster than revenue.
The family covers four jobs: designing and building the cloud platform itself, moving existing systems onto it, automating how software is built, tested and released, and running the environment day to day after launch. It includes infrastructure as code, environments, delivery pipelines, monitoring, backups and cost control. It does not include buying hardware, office IT or help-desk support, and it does not replace the product engineering that happens on top of the platform.
We name AWS, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean and Cloudflare as the providers we use. No cloud partner tier or cloud certification is claimed; the provider stays your choice.
Services in this family

Typical deliverable Migration plan, rehearsed cut-over and a modernized environment
-
DevOps and platform engineering
Release faster with fewer failed deployments
Typical deliverable CI/CD pipelines, environment automation and release runbooks
-
Managed cloud services
Keep a live platform patched, backed up and affordable
Typical deliverable Monitoring, patch calendar, restore tests and monthly cost reviews
Each service has its own page and can be scoped in a solution review. Other routes are in the services directory.
When this family fits
Choose Cloud & DevOps when the platform, not the feature list, is what holds the product back: releases that need a weekend, environments nobody can rebuild, a single server carrying the whole business, or costs that nobody can explain. It also fits a new product that should start on a sound footing rather than be re-platformed a year after launch; teams building on our SaaS product accelerator often pair it with platform engineering from day one.
Another route fits better when the real problem is the application itself, when you need office IT support, or when a mature in-house operations team only needs extra hands for a few weeks.
Technologies we build with
Evidence: platforms Netbase engineers and runs
Netbase builds and runs its own cloud products every day; no client cloud metric is published yet, so the proof below is qualitative.
Printcart (Netbase Business Division). Printcart is the web-to-print and print-on-demand platform Netbase engineers, hosts and operates. It turns online orders into print-ready files and routed fulfillment, and runs on merchants' own stores or as Shopify, Wix and WooCommerce apps. A platform like this has to handle large artwork files, rendering jobs and seasonal order peaks in printing and packaging. See the Printcart record.
Cloodo Workspace (Netbase Business Division). Cloodo is an AI-powered digital workplace for company profiles, services, projects and team collaboration, connecting internal staff and outsourced specialists in one hybrid workspace. Netbase engineers and runs it as a multi-tenant cloud product, live at cloodo.com. See the Cloodo record.
Both depend on the routine this family sells: repeatable environments, automated releases and backups that restore. More projects are in our work.
How we engage
Cloud work follows the Netbase delivery lifecycle, compressed into four moves. Most Netbase projects are delivered on fixed-price contracts agreed after discovery.
-
Assess
We map the current environment, releases, costs and risks, and agree the targets that matter: release frequency, recovery time, monthly spend.
-
Design
We choose the provider and architecture, write the environment as code and plan any migration with a rollback point.
-
Build and move
Environments, pipelines, monitoring and backups are built in outcome-based milestones, and workloads move in rehearsed steps.
-
Operate and improve
Training and handover to your team, or ongoing operation by ours through managed cloud, with regular cost and security reviews.
DevSecOps runs through every step: secure code review, TLS in transit and AES at rest, role-based access control, MFA for admin dashboards, vulnerability scanning and disaster recovery planning. Work runs remote-first from Hanoi, with support Monday to Saturday and Sunday off. The tools we pair with each provider, and why, are on our cloud and DevOps stack page.
AI in this family
AI now works on both sides of the platform. In operations, it groups alerts, summarises logs, flags cost and traffic anomalies and drafts incident timelines, while an engineer decides every change to production. For products, we build platforms that host AI workloads: model gateways, vector search, GPU or serverless inference and cost limits. Where AI runs in delivered work, and where it is a growth capability:
-
In delivered commerce work
Recommendation engine
Built for 4over4's online printing store, not for a cloud project.
-
Available capability
AI-assisted operations and cloud platforms for AI workloads
Machine learning and generative AI that Netbase offers; not yet tied to a published cloud case.

SaaS product accelerator: launch an AI-ready SaaS on proven Netbase modules
A SaaS product accelerator is a set of reusable Netbase modules for accounts, billing, roles and integrations that helps founders and product teams launch subscription software faster, with room for in-product AI from the first release. Reusing these productized modules can cut development time by up to 60%, and the approach is proven on Printcart, the web-to-print SaaS Netbase built and operates.
