The problem
Deyar had strong production capability but an informational website. There was no online ordering, no self-service customisation, no digital quotation and no single view of online and walk-in orders, so customers phoned, emailed or visited, staff re-keyed requests and inbound leads were not captured. Print products are also hard to sell online: a banner is priced by area and material, a business card by quantity and finish, a vehicle wrap per vehicle, and Arabic buyers expect a right-to-left interface with proper Arabic typography.
What Netbase built
-
Bilingual storefront
A custom Arabic right-to-left and English interface with Saudi riyal pricing, customer accounts, cart, guest checkout and Saudi payment gateways.
-
Designer studio
Upload artwork, design from scratch or start from a template, with Arabic fonts inside the design canvas.
-
Print pricing engine
Options priced per unit with quantity breaks, per area, per side, per vehicle or by quote, configured across the full product range.
-
Print-ready files
High-resolution PDF output with pre-flight checks and a design-proof approval step before production.
-
Leads and branches
Request-for-quote lead capture with admin notifications, and multi-vendor and multi-branch ordering.
-
Production back-office
Job queues and status tracking, offline and walk-in order entry, and one view of online and offline orders.
-
Roles
Role-based access for administrators, production operators, accountants, branch operators and customers.
The platform is headless: the storefront is separate from the commerce backbone behind a REST API, so a mobile channel can be added later on the same system.
How the work was delivered
The engagement began with discovery and sign-off of the business requirements, then ran in phases, each built on staging with a single go-live: the platform launch with the catalogue configured and populated, then production and operations. A dedicated account manager was the single point of contact, with weekly progress updates, client acceptance testing before each go-live, formal change control and documentation at every handover. Arabic layout and typography had their own design and QA pass.
What is planned, not delivered
The third phase is planned, not part of this record: an AI suite for pre-flight print-quality checks, background removal, image upscaling and a design assistant, together with accounting and ERP integration and ZATCA e-invoicing. No AI feature is claimed as delivered, and no sales, lead or order figures are published.
