The problem
Apparel orders are rarely one product in one size. A company ordering event shirts wants unisex, women's and youth cuts, three colours, a logo on the front and a name on the sleeve. ACT Printing's store used generic upload boxes that did not tie a file to a print location, so artwork arrived without saying where it belonged. Mixed colour and size orders were hard to place on a phone, and staff pieced together what to print from order notes and emails, which is how reprints happen.
What Netbase built
The work focused on three to four priority product groups: a business and event apparel package builder, a merch production builder, a premium small-batch builder and the core garments they share.
-
Store and designer upgrade
A review and upgrade of the existing store and online designer as the foundation.
-
Print locations
Front, back and sleeve zones, each showing the allowed print area and its own dimensions.
-
Location-bound artwork
Choosing a location opens the upload and preview for that location, so each file is attached to the place it will be printed.
-
Colours
The garment image follows the selected colour, and one order can include several colours with the design previewed on each.
-
Package builder
Garment and colour groups, each with its own size breakdown, rolling up to a live grand total in a card layout built for phones.
-
Pricing and upsells
Quantity tier pricing and contextual add-ons such as back or sleeve prints, logo clean-up, rush and bagging.
-
Production data
The complete selection is written back to the store order, with a staff-readable production summary: garment groups, sizes, colours, locations, artwork per location, dimensions, notes and add-ons.
Checkout, payments and order history stay in ACT Printing's own store; the design engine and file processing run on Printcart Cloud.
How the work was delivered
Work started with a full backup and a staging copy of the store. A discovery step captured the exact print specifications, and a product data template kept the build to confirmed information rather than assumptions. The flow was built and tested on staging across phones, tablets, desktops and the main browsers, reviewed by the client in two adjustment rounds, and moved live only after approval, with a rollback plan ready. A handover document and walkthrough followed, with a 30-day bug-fix window.
What comes next, and what is not claimed
B2B company accounts, proofs, saved artwork and one-click reorders are planned as a second phase, and AI and third-party integrations as a third. Neither is part of this record, so no AI feature is claimed. The record publishes no sales, conversion or reprint figures, and no region or store address.
