What ERP and CRM development includes
ERP runs orders, stock, purchasing and finance; CRM runs leads, deals, accounts and service. In many growing companies neither fits and the online store talks to neither. This service fixes the fit, from build-or-buy consultancy to the system and its integrations. The service sits in our Enterprise Platforms family.
Included
- ERP consultancy: process mapping, fit-gap analysis and build-or-buy advice
- Custom ERP modules for orders, inventory, purchasing, projects and billing
- Custom CRM: pipelines, accounts, quotes and B2B sales workflows
- Extensions and integrations for packages you keep
- Commerce connections: orders, customers, stock and prices in sync
- Data migration from spreadsheets and legacy systems
- Training, rollout and post-launch support
Not included
- Accounting, tax or legal advice
- Reselling third-party ERP or CRM licences
- Data entry and back-office outsourcing
- Hardware, scanners and office networks
When to use it, and when another route fits
Custom work pays off when your process is part of your advantage.
Good fit
- Your sales or fulfilment process is unusual enough that packages need heavy workarounds
- Orders are re-keyed from the store into the ERP or CRM
- Several tools hold parts of the customer record and disagree
- You want to own the system and its IP
Another route fits better
- A standard process a mature package covers out of the box
- Only the connection between two healthy systems is missing: an integration project fits
- You need configuration of a package, not development
- No one on your side can own process decisions
Packaged workflows are available too: our cloud ERP and CRM and workflow automation solutions start from ready modules. Every operations solution is gathered under enterprise operations, and every service route is in the services directory.
Outcomes and buyer jobs
Companies hire ERP and CRM development to:
Sales, service and finance see the same account, deal and order history.
Online orders flow into the ERP with stock and prices sent back to the store.
Approvals, quotes and project billing move into a system with audit trails.
Dashboards on live data, not month-end exports.
Capability modules and deliverables
We start from our productized modules, including a CRM and B2B sales engine, a workflow automation toolkit, an AI chatbot and WorkChat integrator and Smart ERP Light, and build custom work on top.
Process maps, fit-gap analysis and a build, buy or extend recommendation
Pipelines, account views, quotes and approval flows
Orders, inventory, purchasing, projects and billing on Smart ERP Light or custom modules
Approvals, notifications and hand-offs between teams
Orders, customers, stock and prices synced with your store
Cleaned and mapped records from spreadsheets and old systems, with reconciliation reports
Role-based training, user guides and a post-launch support period
Productized modules are licensed, one-time or as SaaS, not transferred; the custom code created for you is yours.
Delivery process, team, quality and security
Every system follows our six-step delivery lifecycle:
-
Discovery and strategic alignment
Processes, roles, data and the metrics that define done.
-
Team assembly and architecture planning
A team of 3 to 30 people, typically starting one to two weeks after discovery.
-
Agile execution with outcome-based milestones
Module by module, each milestone ends in a release your staff can test.
-
Modular and productized components
Proven modules are reused where they remove risk and time.
-
Training, rollout and optimization
An ERP is only as good as the data people put into it.
-
Ongoing support and co-building
The system keeps pace with the business.
Governance runs through weekly reviews, KPI dashboards and a dedicated account manager and project manager, remote-first from Hanoi in English. Modules expose APIs first, so stores, mobile apps and AI services use the same contracts, and business data is protected by design with role-based access control, MFA for admin dashboards, TLS in transit and AES at rest.
AI in ERP and CRM workflows
ERP and CRM hold the data AI needs most: orders, stock, customers and conversations. We add AI where it removes typing or surfaces a decision, and anything that posts to finance or commits a price keeps a human approval.
AI your system can use:
-
Invoice and purchase order capture
Supplier documents read into draft records for a clerk to confirm.
-
Demand and stock forecasting
Reorder suggestions from sales history and seasonality.
-
Lead and deal insights
Follow-up reminders, call and email summaries, and deals flagged as stalling.
-
Staff assistant
Answers to "where is this order" or "what did this customer buy" across ERP and CRM records, within each user's role.
AI in our delivery:
- Migration mapping. AI proposes field mappings and flags duplicates in legacy data; analysts reconcile before go-live.
- Test generation. Test cases drafted from process maps and reviewed by QA.

Engagement models and commercial variables
Most Netbase projects are delivered on fixed-price contracts agreed after discovery, and a defined system or module runs as project-based development with milestone payments. A roadmap of modules suits a dedicated team on a monthly retainer. We do not publish rate cards.
What moves effort and time: the number of processes and roles, the modules that can be reused, the systems to integrate, the volume and quality of data to migrate, and how many teams need training.
Technology as an implementation choice
Custom ERP and CRM systems run on our backend platforms. On the commerce side, Netbase has delivered on WooCommerce, Magento 2, Laravel and headless commerce. When a package such as Odoo or Salesforce already covers most of a process, extending it is usually cheaper than replacing it, and we say so.
Technologies we build with
Industry applications
Professional services. Agencies, consultancies and service firms run on pipelines, projects, people and billing. Cloodo, a Netbase Business Division, was built for exactly this work. Its division page describes the product.
Commerce businesses. The store, ERP and CRM must agree on orders, stock and customers, so the commerce connection is in every scope.
Professional services: projects, clients and teams on one AI-assisted workspace
Agencies, consultancies and other service firms need projects, proposals, invoices and teams on one workspace instead of five tools, with AI drafting plans and finding answers in past work for people to check. Netbase builds that kind of workspace, and the proof is our own: Cloodo Workspace, the AI-powered work SaaS that Netbase's Cloodo Business Division designed, built and operates.

Cloodo Workspace (Netbase Business Division). Cloodo is an AI-powered digital workplace for company profiles, services, projects and team collaboration that connects internal staff and outsourced specialists in one hybrid workspace. Netbase engineered and operates it, live at cloodo.com; it is cited for scope. See the Cloodo record.
Geo-Tek IT Solutions (Cyprus). A printing and design-services company needed an online design platform that fitted its existing business systems. Netbase built the platform and connected it to those systems. Order processing time fell 30%, repeat transactions rose 24% and revenue grew 36% in the first quarter after launch. Read the Geo-Tek case.
Cloud ERP for a US client (not named). Since 2020 Netbase has been the offshore development and managing partner for a multi-tenant cloud ERP sold as SaaS to small and mid-sized businesses. The first phase, for agencies, covers CRM, real-time WorkChat messaging, HR management, a knowledge base, configurable fields and workflows, work management and API integrations. The platform is being extended for retailers with point of sale, inventory, purchasing, ecommerce integration, loyalty, finance and multi-store management. See the cloud ERP record.
ERP upgrades and implementations (clients not named). Netbase moved one client from Vtiger CRM to a full ERP covering customer records, sales orders, support tickets, workforce, products and budgets, and connected another client's online store to its ERP so catalogs, stock, orders and customers stay in sync. With a local Odoo implementation partner, we have consulted on and customized Odoo in Vietnam for retail and franchise chains, manufacturers, distributors, a warranty service network, a university institute and a postal helpdesk.

Custom cloud ERP with AI forecasting and document capture: projects, finance, HR and CRM in one system
A custom cloud ERP from Netbase is one browser-based system where a growing company runs its projects, finance, HR and customer relationships on shared data, and where AI can read invoices and forecast demand and cash. It is built for SMEs that have outgrown spreadsheets but not their own way of working, on the same foundation as Cloodo Workspace, the work-management platform Netbase built and runs.
