The problem
The shop wanted a new website and chose the premium Printshop package, which comes with many demo layouts and installation on the client's own hosting. After picking a layout and adding its own content, the owner ran into two things the package did not do out of the box. Setting up the online designer on some products proved difficult, and the standard product page did not match the shop's brand or show prices the way its customers compare them. In the editor, customers also needed to see the real finished size of a job and to switch a design between portrait and landscape.
What Netbase built
-
Product configuration
The online designer set up for every product in the spreadsheet the shop supplied.
-
Branded product page
The layout rebuilt to the shop's own PDF design, with large thumbnails for product variations and printing options in dropdowns.
-
Pricing table
Prices shown as a table instead of a single price line, so quantities and options can be compared at a glance.
-
Bleed-free rulers
Editor rulers measure the finished product without bleed, and the on-canvas guideline text was updated to match.
-
Optional 90-degree rotate
The admin switches rotation on per product; shoppers rotate each side on its own between portrait and landscape, and placed text and images turn with the background or can be removed and redone.
How the work was delivered
The shop sent a detailed product list and the product page design, and the work went through the shop's consultant at CMSmart. None of the tasks was complex, but there were many of them: development took about three weeks, followed by a week of adjustments.
What is not claimed
When the public story was written the shop's new website was still in development, so this record states no launch, traffic or sales result, and no region. No AI feature is part of this project.
